Biography Cheri L. Butler, B.A.
Expertise Ms. Butler is an environmental scientist who has 10 years experience of experience preparing human health and ecological risk assessments for a variety of chemicals of concern, including petroleum hydrocarbons, polychlorinated biphenyls, dioxins, and pesticides. She is skilled in database design, management and quality control and is experienced in summarizing technical literature and reports. She has conducted risk assessments for sites throughout the United States as well as in Guatemala and Portugal. Ms. Butler is experienced in designing fish consumption studies of recreational shellfishers and anglers in Casco Bay, Maine and the New York Bight. Ms. Butler has also designed and tested multimedia educational products for training environmental professionals and for teaching high school students. She is currently conducting risk assessments under the Superfund and Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection regulatory programs.
